Brand development of Aero aerated chocolate

Conception and design of the launch packaging and line extension of Aero for Novesia van Houten (1986 & 1987)

In 1986, ABERHAM Design was asked to design the aerated chocolate brand Aero to be lighter, more airy, and more modern. Ottmar Aberham designed a concise brand image in which the airy, rounded appearance of the product was translated into an altogether airy-light and tasty word-picture combination. From this basis, the first line extensions under the Aero branding were formed in 1989 – also with ABERHAM Design.
The Aero brand that was formed in the 1980s still exists today.
